Illustrator, creator of poetic universes

I am inspired by everything that surrounds me, especially nature, botany and photography. In the artistic world I was inspired a lot by many people and I think that all these references have forged my current style. I like to create compositions that leave room for dreams and poetry of the moment, transforming everyday elements into colorful illustrations full of sweetness. I can easily be inspired by a landscape, a shop window, a flower arrangement. Finally, everything that my gaze can cross, my creative sensibility transforms into illustration.

I don't have a workshop yet but I would dream of having one, for the moment I reserve a corner of my apartment for my activity. I always have my Ipad close by if I ever get an idea, tons of sketchbooks that I love to fill out, and of course all my art supplies. I really like traditional techniques and I like being able to use them when I want, for now my essential is my collection of colored pencils.

I would love to see my illustrations everywhere! Trying many supports and discovering my work in new objects is something that I really appreciate and that makes me happy. Currently I am a big fan of tufted rugs, I would love to be able to create them in the image of my designs. Otherwise, I think I'll say a plaid, it's comfortable and essential in winter, so I'd like to make it more artistic and colorful!

I would say that the slow life concept is in my way of getting inspired and observing what surrounds me. I take the time to appreciate the colors I see, capture the small details of everyday life, and spot the beauty in each moment. It is by remaining attentive and amazed that I can best transcribe all these things in my illustrations.

There are 2 Instagram accounts full of poetry and delicacy that I love and would like to share their work. First, Natacha Birds @natachabirds , a person who inspired me for a long time and who continues to do so. Her Ella art is beautiful, flowery, and has a natural gift for capturing detail. And second, the Mersea people @mersea_people who always amaze me with their beautiful compositions and incredible photos. All her art of Ella talks about sea, sky, ocean and love, themes that touch me a lot.
